DeTomaso

about

Isabelle is a short cinematic debut film marking the return of De Tomaso Automobili, introducing the De Tomaso P72 as an all-new car rooted in heritage, not trend. The film takes its name from Isabelle Haskell, an accomplished racing driver and the wife and partner of Alejandro de Tomaso, whose influence helped shape the marque in its earliest days. In tribute, the first P72 prototype was named Isabelle, honoring her role, conviction, and presence in a world that rarely made space for women. Rather than explain the car, the film observes it. Through the presence of Carmen Jordá, Isabelle connects past and present, reflecting shared values of restraint, craftsmanship, and quiet defiance. The result is not a performance showcase, but a character-driven introduction to De Tomaso’s return, where history, intent, and emotion lead the design.
